Branch Office Support
If you have a multi-office business, you can easily link the locations with PBXtra. With linked servers, the branch offices are treated like one – you benefit from free office-to-office calling via VoIP, four digit office-to-office calling (or one click via HUD), and the ability to forward or transfer calls to any extension across the system.
Linking PBXtra servers is just as easy. Two clicks and you’re linked!
The cost to link branch offices is $799/server for PBXtra Standard Edition or $1499 for PBXtra Call Center Edition, plus the cost of the additional PBXtra server. Note that in order for all the PBXtra features to work across branch offices, you must purchase the same edition of PBXtra for all offices.
Tip: Telecommuters are not treated as branch offices. Telecommuters can work with an IP-phone connected to their DSL or cable modem and make free VoIP calls just as if they’re in the office. Their caller ID will even show up as the company’s main phone number!
